Waiting for our Amtrak bus at the Albany station. There are several trains each day between Albany and Portland, but the bus worked into our schedule better.

Portland's Union Station.

The Portland half of the Empire Builder waits at the platform. The Empire Builder splits at Spokane, Washington, with half of the train coming to Portland and half going to Seattle.
